DESCRIPTION:Break out your collared shirts\, khakis\, and golf shoes. The Chamber's beloved Busted Putter Golf Tournament is back this year on Oct. 25. This premier tournament for the Big Country aims to bring together local business leaders to enjoy fresh air while forging connections with our local Airmen.\n\n \n\n"Whether you're a golfer or not\, this event allows you to connect and support our local Airmen in a variety of ways. We hope you'll join us\," said Doug Peters\, President & CEO.\n\n \n\nEach team will be paired with a Dyess Hero and each player on each team received: \n\n	Sunglasses from Maui Jim on-site\n	Complimentary breakfast and morning cocktails \n	Range balls\n	Goody bag\n	Seating and meals for the awards luncheon\n\nNot a golfer? Not a problem! There are plenty of ways to get involved no golf skills required: \n\n\n	Gain exposure for your business with sponsorship opportunities priced to fit every budget\n	Showcase your company's services to others by donating a prize for the goody bag\n	Get involved by volunteering\n\nSHOOT A HOLE IN ONE AND WIN!\n\n\n\nPlayers have a chance to win any of the following prizes if you get a hole in one at select holes.\n\n	A vehicle of $30\,000 in value\n	Round trip air fare for a domestic flight\n	New set of Iron Golf Clubs\n	$500 gift certificate in the Golf Pro Shop\n\n\n\nProceeds will support the Military Affairs Committee which includes the World's Largest BBQ that thanks over 5\,000 local military heroes and their families.\n\n\n\n\n\nSafety Protocols\n\nHere at the Abilene Chamber\, we're committed to creating and providing an environment where you feel comfortable\, but also have the freedom to do business. Here are a few guidelines we'll be following:\n\n- To protect your health and the health of others\, masks will be strongly encouraged and will be on-hand for those who do not have one.\n\n- We'll have multiple hand sanitizing stations throughout the facility as well as signage encouraging one way traffic at our larger events.\n\n- Unsure of if the person you're wanting to visit with is physically distancing? We'll have colored bracelets on-hand to help you communicate to those around you which measures you are practicing. A red will mean no contact\, yellow elbows only while still being cautious\, blue hi-five and handshakes with frequent sanitizing.\n\n- We ask that if you do not feel well or have an inkling that you have been exposed to stay home.\n\n- Thanks to our partner\, Armament Shield Abilene's Germ Killer\, we have access to Breathe-In technology that will help disinfect the air at our larger events in the hope to mitigate viruses.
